Solidarity – Scholars at Risk

The University of Neuchâtel is a member of Scholars at Risk (SAR), an international network of universities that aims to protect researchers under threat, prevent attacks against the scientific community, and promote academic freedom worldwide. There are about forty member institutions in the Swiss section, including UniNE.

Any scientist whose life, freedom or well-being is threatened and who wants to seek refuge at the UniNE first needs to get in touch with the SAR  offices in New York, so they can start the registration and evaluation process to obtain the ‘at risk’ status. The UniNE is available at any time during this procedure to answer any questions.
