1st day: Preparation of samples (fixation, desiccation, mounting, metallization)
2nd and 3rd day: Continuation of preparation (if needed) and observation of preparations with the SEM at the CSEM (2 hours / participant)

Travel expenses: participants of the doctoral program are eligible for reimbursement of incurred travel expenses by train (half-fare card, and 2nd class). Please send the original tickets (no copies, except for the general abonnement) at the end of the term with the reimbursement form to Christiane Bobillier. No reimbursement for bus, taxi or car travel expenses will be paid.

The workshop is open to to doctoral program participants only.
Ph.D.students must bring their own biological material.
The workshop is free, but the effective cost is approx. CHF 300.00 per person. Therefore a waiting list will be prepared to ensure that there are no empty seats.
For practical reasons, the course is limited to 6 participants. Minimum number of participants: 6.
To provide the basis for the organization of the course, participants have to fill in the SEM registration form and send it to Michèle Vlimant (michele.vlimant@unine.ch) after registration.
