Biography

Désirée obtained her Master’s degree in Life Sciences from the ZHAW in Wädenswil (Switzerland) in March 2020. In February 2020 she started as a scientific assistant at the Institute of Chemistry at UniNE and in April 2020 she joined the Laboratory for Bioanalytical Chemistry as a PhD student.

Désirée is particularly interested in synthetic organic chemistry and medicinal chemistry, as well as related fields in biochemistry and inorganic chemistry.

Project: Synthesis of secondary metabolites from nematodes and their functional characterization.
