Lease Law Seminar
Welcome to the University of Neuchâtel’s Lease Law Seminar.
The Lease Law Seminar is led by two professors at the Faculty of Law and one associate professor, assisted by academic researchers and administrative staff. In addition, it collaborates with specialists to produce an annual publication.
Its activities fall into two categories:
- organising biennial study days (even-numbered years) at Neuchâtel;
- publishing the Annual Lease Law Review.
The Lease Law Seminar also hosts a comprehensive database on lease law, available via an interactive online platform. www.bail.ch allows you to
- find answers to your questions on lease law
- keep up to date with the latest news on lease law
- easily calculate rises and falls in your rent
It also provides an archive of monthly newsletters.

21th Lease Law Seminar
The 21th Lease Law Seminar took place in videoconferences on 2 October 2020 (1st edition) and 16 October 2020 (2nd edition).
